An insight in Japan's ageing society
Let’s make this blog a bit more serious.
During my three weeks training in the sake brewery, I knew where all ageing men were hiding. Every single one of the part-time (in reality full time) interim (in reality already working there for quite a while) labourers was over sixty.
Let us ignore the fact that they were all stronger, more lenient, and in general healthier than me. But let us remember the fact: this cannot go on forever (although I see some of them working there and juggling bags of rice for eternity).
There’s two solutions for the ageing society: bring in hard working foreigners (ha!) or put the women back to work.
Japan still has a very manly society. When a child is born, the woman is supposed to stay home and feed the little brat. While I can understand lots of feminists don’t agree with this because women don’t have much of a choice, I myself would be happy if I were a woman in Japan (let us ignore all the sexual intimidation and every stereotype that a woman has to live up to).
But damn! Staying home all day, spending the money your husband earns, once in a while slapping the spoiled bugger, not having to put up with crowded trains or even streets, cheating on your husband occasionally (well, let us also forget it works perfectly fine the other way around too), looking at extremely good tv-shopping programs, going on a trip on a weekday (just tie the rat to a chair), …
I’m not sure where I’m going with this, but I think my conclusion is: the solution for Japan’s ageing society is letting me kick some kids and spend eternity in my sofa!!
...
Did I succeed in making this thing more serious?

I think ideal society is one where everybody is working 5 days a week and 7hours a day. Each 6 months 2 weeks off. Where everybody earns enough to pay a house, big enough for his needs. If there are children 1 can stay at home to grow them until they go to school.
Where the lower class is not exploited by the higher ones so nobody has to have a broken back at 35, and does not have to do hand labor at 65. This way people could physically work longer than 65. Look at our Politicians who work untill their 75, why not. I do not care if society is getting older, old people sometimes have more wisdom than these youngsters who finish school and think they know best....
so, now your site IS serious!!!
