Painting bridges
The previous blog entry dates from a month ago, so I know you all were wondering happened to that lovely guy, right? (please read on)
Well, quite a lot happened, especially work, so I won't bother you guys with all that. Except for the Belgian Beer Weekend, which was extremely tiresome but a fantastic experience. 4 days, only Belgian beer, 21000 visitors. Nice, right?
Other than that, I think the most important thing is that I finally have internet and a cellphone. It makes life so much easier. Not that I don't mind not having a cellphone, but here in Japan they relate every registration for whatever to your cellphone, so it's nice I can finally apply for stuff like a Lawson point card.
I also went to Amanohashidate with Karin, and taking a little walk up the mountain. I absolutely adore mountains, and the lack of them must be Itami's greatest flaw.
I can talk about it, but it's easier if you just take a look at the pictures and some more pictures.
Yesterday there was a barbecue organized by the people from Kaffe, my second home. It was nice, but actually the most interesting thing was that older guy who painted the bridge's pillar. Now I would kind of understand if there was graffiti on it, but no trace of that. And I thought those Star Wars parking lot officers had interesting jobs...
Anyway, pictures are to be seen at my >>photo page<<.

Nee.
De bedoeling is dat ge die zandbank volo met bomen door uw eigen benen beziet. Ben er niet zeker van waarom, maar blijkbaar lijkt het dan meer op een "brug naar de hemel". Die vreemde Japanners toch...
