Back in Belgium

Always funny when you get back to Belgium.
I come from 35 degrees and a climate that is humid like hell (if hell were to be humid). I arrive in Belgium (ok, sorry, actually it was Finland, but Belgium was not that much better) and I get a bit of heavy rain and 12 degrees.
That's what was expected though.

What was also expected that my first train was 15 minutes too late. I remember that I always managed to be on time at my job in Brussels by just adding 30 minutes to my original travel itinerary. It seems like a long time ago, but it's actually just 2 months ago.

What I didn't expect, but what didn't surprise me though, was that my first tram had two accidents within 200 meters.

I once wrote a piece about the yellow danger, about the Japanese people on the road. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to drive like nutcases and never have any accidents...
Comparing driving styles all over the world kind of makes me happy that my driving exam was an enormous fiasco...

Anyway, the main purpose of my visit here is getting my visa back on track and visiting breweries. Very nice, but it kind of fades away in the light of simple Belgian events like rain and accidents.

And I mention again, my photo page gets updated quite regularly.
